1. Sponsor

The LeapsLair Monthly Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by LeapsLair LLC, 35434 W San Sisto Ave, Maricopa, AZ 85138 (“Sponsor”). Questions: leapslair@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and is void where prohibited.

3. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway is an ongoing monthly promotion. Each monthly entry period begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Arizona time (MST, UTC-7) on the first day of the calendar month and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Arizona time on the last day of that month (each, an “Entry Period”). Sponsor may end the Giveaway at any time by posting notice on this page; entries received during a completed Entry Period will still be included in that month’s drawing.

4. How to Enter

To enter, visit leapslair.com/join and submit the entry form with your first name and a valid email address, and check the box to enter the Giveaway and receive LeapsLair marketing emails. No purchase is necessary. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address per Entry Period. Entries submitted with multiple email addresses by the same person, or by automated means, are void.

Once you have entered, you remain entered in each following month’s drawing for as long as you are subscribed to LeapsLair emails. If you unsubscribe, you will not be included in future drawings; you may re-enter at any time by submitting the entry form again. Unsubscribing does not affect any drawing that has already taken place.

You may also enter without subscribing to marketing email by mailing a postcard with your first and last name, mailing address, email address, and the words “LeapsLair Monthly Giveaway” to the Sponsor address above. Mail-in entries must be received during the Entry Period and count as one entry for that month only.

5. Prize

One (1) winner per Entry Period will receive the comic book or comic-related item named as that month’s prize in the LeapsLair email and on the entry page (the “Prize”). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize will not exceed $100 unless otherwise stated for that month. Sponsor chooses the specific item, cover, and grade. No cash or other substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated Prize becomes unavailable. The Prize is not transferable. Any taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

On or about the first day of each month, Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period that just ended. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by email at the address on the entry within five (5) days of the drawing and must reply with a valid U.S. shipping address within seven (7) days of the notification. If the potential winner does not respond in time, is found ineligible, or the notification email is returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries. The Prize will be shipped at Sponsor’s expense to the winner’s U.S. address within thirty (30) days after the winner is confirmed.

7. Publicity

Except where prohibited, entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to announce the winner’s first name, last initial, and state in LeapsLair emails and on LeapsLair social accounts, without further compensation.

8. Privacy

Information submitted with an entry is collected by Sponsor and used to administer the Giveaway and, if you checked the box on the entry form, to send you LeapsLair marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Sponsor’s privacy policy is at leapslair.com/policies/privacy-policy.

9. General Conditions

By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or undeliverable entries or notifications, or for technical failures of any kind. Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these Official Rules. If the Giveaway cannot run as planned for any reason, Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify it and select the winner from eligible entries received before the action was taken.

10. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, you release Sponsor and its owners, employees, and agents from any claim or liability arising from participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize. Sponsor’s total liability is limited to the ARV of the Prize.

11. Governing Law

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Winners List

To learn the winner for a given month, email leapslair@gmail.com with the subject line “Giveaway Winner” and the month, within sixty (60) days after that month’s drawing.
