Chainkata #1 Mazzara & Itri LeapsLair Exclusive LTD 500 PREORDER 11/18

⛓️ AURELIO MAZZARA & MARCO ITRI LEAPSLAIR EXCLUSIVE COVERS — LTD 500 EACH ⛓️

Two LeapsLair store-exclusive covers for the series premiere of Daniel Warren Johnson's Chainkata, and each one is a homage. Aurelio Mazzara gives us a Kill Bill homage: Luma as The Bride, with a chainsaw where the katana should be, on a yellow Japanese movie poster straight out of Kill Bill: Vol. 1. Marco Itri gives us a Thor #337 homage: Walt Simonson's legendary 1983 Beta Ray Bill cover, with Luma swinging her chainsaw through the asteroid field instead of Mjolnir. Each cover is limited to 500 copies.

📖 THE STORY
Luma is a chainsaw-wielding warrior queen seeking out an unknown power in the vastness of space. All she wants is to find peace… but violence and terror chase her through every black hole. Princess Mononoke meets Warhammer 40k in this high-octane sci-fi adventure poised to be the biggest launch of the year! It all begins with forty pages of story with no ads.

✍️ THE TEAM
Written and illustrated by Daniel Warren Johnson (Transformers, Do a Powerbomb!), colors by Mike Spicer. Exclusive covers by Aurelio Mazzara and Marco Itri.
